Teamwork

“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”

I saw this quote online and it made me think about our build season and upcoming regional in OKC. We have to concentrate on building our team up so that we can really succeed. Every section of our team, mechanical, electrical, and behind the scenes, is necessary to achieve our goal.

Our overall progress as a team has been very impressive. Behind the scenes we finalized the shirts and ordered them. As soon as Mrs. Othon emails it to me, I will post the design we decided on. We also recieved our button maker a few days ago and need to get working on that asap. It is a LOT harder then it looks! We also need someone to dress up as Marvin the Martian during the competition to promote our team, any volunteers?
The mechanical and electrical teams have also been very busy based on what we saw when we were there, very nice! I will keep everyone updated on whats going on at McElroy once we get a better idea of it ourselves.

Everyone keep working just as hard to attain those uncommon results!

We are going to ROCK the regional this spring!!

Behind the scenes, we have been working on our style. We narrowed down a t-shirt design and have been working on the details of our trip. We really need everyone's t-shirt sizes so that we can come up with a number to order. If you didn't turn in a form at the beginning of the season with you t-shirt size on it you need to turn in your size to Mrs. Othon or e-mail it to me.

Caitlyn and I will be at McElroy on Tuesday to take more pictures, see you then!

Toons or Tunes?

I have been asking myself the same question all weekend.
Is it Looney Toons or Looney Tunes?

I googled it and all of the logos say Tunes so I'm kind of leaning toward that.
But wouldn't it make more sense to say Looney Toons as in cartoons?
I'm really confused so if anyone wants to help me out here it would be much appreciated.

Well as hard as everyone has been working while building, we have also been working behind the scenes.
The theme for this year is going to be...
LOONEY TOONS!!

and to incorporate the space theme our mascot is...
MARVIN THE MARTIAN!
